The Partons have four children:
 

Jonathan Daniel (not pictured & now married) is their oldest son and was saved on November 20, 1986. He has surrendered his life to serve the Lord in whatever capacity the Lord chooses for him. He will graduate on May 23rd with his Master's Degree in Practical Theology from Hyles-Anderson College.

Cyndi Joy, was saved on April 4, 1989, and has a desire to serve the Lord in whatever capacity the Lord has for her. She is now a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College and waiting on the Lord.

David Paul, was saved on January 14, 1990, and has surrendered his life to be a preacher. He will graduate on May 23rd with his BA Degree and is currently on staff at Hyles-Anderson College.

Jack Andrew was saved on April 24, 1994. He has surrendered to the mission field and, like the other children, has a sincere desire to follow the Lord's will, whatever it may be. He is now a freshman at Hyles-Anderson College.
Timberline Baptist Church has a fun, exciting and inspirational family ministry:

Family Development -- Sermon content from the pulpit is geared to the specific needs of the church family. Sometimes that includes preaching on the family, child rearing, discipline, education, and etc. The pastor is available for counselling as the need arises.

Youth Department -- Timberline Baptist Church is in the process of building a strong youth department. Pastor Parton was a youth pastor for 8 1/2 years and served as an assistant pastor working with youth related ministries for a total of 11 years before becoming the pastor of Timberline Baptist Church. He serves as the pastor as well as the youth director! (The best of both worlds!)

Timberline Baptist Academy -- Timberline Baptist Academy is an educational ministry of TBC. Curriculum: Landmark's Freedom Baptist Curriculum, A Beka reading in the lower grades, Saxon Math, and Bible. Scripture memorization is heavily emphasized. K-12 is available. TBA is currently using this curriculum in a home-school setting.

Mother/Daughter Tea -- Our ladies have a Tea each year just before Mothers' Day. Instead of having a banquet, we have a Tea/Luncheon with special things for mothers and daughters. There is always a special speaker including the pastor's wife.

Father/Son Cookouts/Campouts -- Guys don't do banquets like ladies do! We have a giant cookout or campout every year before Fathers' Day. Steak, chicken, beans, slaw, pies, cakes, (just "guy" food) No bird food here!

Bus Picnics -- Our bus families are special and we like to have picnics for them. The church provides the food and the kids provide the excitement! Always well organized and supervised.
