Dear Friends, This letter is intended as a short explanation of a change in the offer we are making to you in memory of my husband, Bill Parton, who went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2001. Bill was a former pastor and was doing evangelistic work when the Lord decided He needed Bill at Home. For several years now, our family business has been in the hospitality industry. We developed Gatlinburg Towers, a seven-story condominium project in downtown Gatlinburg. Bill had a particular interest in other pastors, missionary families, and evangelists. We know how hard it is sometimes for people just to take a couple of days of rest, even though it is very needed. The Lord has blessed us and led us through some very difficult times while we were completing Gatlinburg Towers. We feel it is very important to allow the blessings we have received to spread to others, and this is a way we can accomplish this goal. For the last few years, we have offered at least two nights at no charge; and many times, as many of you know, we have offered even more nights. Our program has become very popular and widespread and that has led me to this letter I am sending to all who have visited with us. I feel, in fairness to my business partner, I can no longer offer nights at no charge. However, the offer I would like to make you aware of is a set rate for pastors, missionaries, and evangelists. You will be able to visit us at the rate of $75 per night from June through December and for $50 per night from January through May. There will be a charge of $20 (not per night) for a cleaning fee, and, of course, we will need to add sales tax (12.50%). We will not be able to use this offer during holiday times, some special activity times, and we will only be able to use a certain number of units in this program for any given date. When you have a chance to visit Gatlinburg, you can call me at (800) 874-0233 and let me look at the dates you need and see what is open. If your request is for a date that we cannot allow you to visit under this program, then maybe you can adjust your stay by a few days. This program will be as open as we can make it. We have enjoyed meeting each family that has visited with us, and we hope you will be able to visit with us again soon. I will be happy to talk with you if you have additional questions. Feel free to call anytime. I am usually in the office 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., or call anytime; and since we are all family that work in the office, they will be able to locate me and forward a call. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Donna Parton and Family |
